Filia Apostolakou

a classic technique lover, presents in all her paintings the reality in the best way possible. She uses oil, a difficult material, which she handles with great expertise, offering a wonderful combination of colors. Her technique is delicate, picturing with extreme sensitivity the natural environment but also with distinct vividness and uniqueness the seabed scape. Her brush-stroke 'brings to life' perennial olive-trees, fortunate pomegranates, beloved almond-trees.......in landscapes showered in the sunlight of Mani, which she dearly loves.

Filia was born in 1971 in Athens, her love for drawing and painting started at the age of 12 when she attended oil painting courses at the studio of Ioulia Triantafhyllis'. From 1988 to 1989 she attends Architectural  and Freehand Drawing coarsest the tuition center of Mr Vogiatzis.During the past years she lives and works in Nea Makri.
